Girls are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. The boys don’t want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples from the ground that aren’t as good, but easy. So the apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they’re amazing. They just have to wait for the right boy to come along, the one who’s brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.
I<3APPLE
My flight was being served by an obviously gay flight attendant, who seemed to put everyone in a good mood as he served us food and drinks.
As the plane prepared to descend, he came swishing down the aisle and told us “Captain Marvey has asked me to announce that he’ll be landing the big scary plane shortly, so lovely people, if you could just put your trays up, that would be super.”
So I’ve learned a few things recently. Actually, I’ve realized more than learned. These things were always apparent, but never clear to me. The main thing being that nothing happens on account of some galactic event occuring. Things will happen no matter what, no matter how hard you pray, no matter how much faith you have, no matter what hopes you have in anything. They will happen. Do whatever makes you more satisfied with your life (ex. praying, hoping, wishing). But in the end, all things come together no matter. It may not be the outcome you would potentially like to see, but its an outcome nonetheless. With that being said, I still do some of those things, like wish and hope, because it’s in my nature to have some sense of security. Let me believe what I want to believe. Underneath it all though, I will still know the truth. And that is what makes me different from you.
Another thing, I despise labels/brandings/stereotypes/cliques, all of it.
Just let it be what it is. Stop trying to figure things out, and live your life. That is exactly why I am not religious. People spend their lives analyzing, probing, convincing themselves and others, that if you believe in a certain set of rules and standards you will have potentially lived a great and fullfilling life. Don’t get me wrong, if you want to believe in something, by all means, but don’t shove it amongst the rest. There are so many religions, that believe it or not, all say basically the same thing, and yet one is wrong and another is right. I think if you spend your life trying to figure out what to believe, you forget to believe in yourself, and you, ultimately, forget to live.
That is all.
Would you tell that to Martin Luther King or Albert Einstein?
Probably Albert, that conversation would be amazing.
